Epson – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I've used the Epson ET4760 for 4 1/2 years, haven't had a problem with it. During that time, I printed 14,378 pages. During that time, I've only bought 1 black bottle and 1 set of color ink, all colors in the printer are still at 75% full. I get great prints in black and white/ color and great looking photos. I used the Epson non-ET before that, ink got expensive. The key is to use your printer every week, don't let it set for the ink to dry and clog the print head. I never turn my printer off. Every time you turn it off it used more ink to get it going again. Your ink will not last long if you keep turning it off, let it go to sleep. Purchased this printer in 2019/08/26 from Best Buy.

I had the ET-4760 and only went through 2 3 packs of ink in 3 years. Ink savings pays for the printer. My only objection is that no one near me repairs them. My nearest Epson approved repair shop is 4 hours drive from me and it is a "mom & pop" shop. My print heads needed replacing (my deduction since I was having to do a print head cleaning every 4 sheets I printed. I decided the drive, an overnight or 2nd drive to pick it up for repair, gas and time wouldn't be worth it. I tried Geek Squad, but they frankly told me they didn't repair printers (even though I purchased the printer at Best Buy) and that printers today really "aren't manufactured to be repaired-they are use and throw away, and purchase a new one." This disappointed me, but since the ink cost is so low for the Epson tank printers, I purchased a new Epson ET-4850 tank printer at about $50 more than what the ET-4760 cost. I don't like throwing away things that should be repairable, so my message for EPSON is please open more repair centers that can replace print heads and make print head replacements easily obtained for your printers manufactured the last 5 years etc.

Ich habe vor mehr als vor einem Jahr den EcoTank Multidrucker ET-8550 gekauft. Ich bin damit sehr zufrieden: Die Installation war einfach und schnell erledigt. Das WLAN läuft zuverlässig. Der Tintenverbrauch ist minim, obwohl ich das Gerät täglich verwende. Ich bin rundum zufrieden mit dem Gerät, hat aber auch etwas gekostet! Uebrigens mein erster Epson.

Eine Patrone des Druckers hat nicht mehr richtig gedruckt, irgendwas war verstopft. Habe dann verschiedene Sachen aus YT-Videos ausprobiert, ohne Erfolg. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Hotline hat mir gut geholfen. Klar, man muss 15 Minuten warten bis man dran kommt, aber die Lösung war super und hat funktioniert.

So far so good. Just bought an Epson Ecotank ET-5800, upgrading from an Ecotank ET-4850, which I have had for around 4 years with no problems. Reason for upgrade was to get a printer whose features and quality would still be relevant in years to come. And I am not disappointed. I am totally blown away by the build quality of the printer and speed/quality of printouts. The printer itself was easy to setup as long as you follow each step of the Start Here sheet. Then read the manual, don't skimp. This gives you a good understanding of the printers capabilities and functions. Don't use any other Ink than Epson original while the printer is under warranty, with or without extended, as this will void your warranty. My only gripe is the amount of ink that comes with the printer. You get enough ink to fill each of the 4 tanks to three quarters, but then once the initialization process has completed you are left with only half a tank for each colour and the black. For the price of the printer it would be ideal if there was enough ink to fill the printer after initialising the ink. Also the maintenance box. After initialising it is three quarters full so as well as ink I need to purchase a spare box. Although the 4 inks and maintenance box will cost less than buying a full set of cartridges, it would have been nice to have had full tanks and empty box to start the life of the printer proper.
