The delvery from hell.

I placed an order with B&H photo on August 8, 2024 for a Samsung S90D 65" television. B&H shipped it on 8/9 with ABF Your website listed delivery on 8/18. I called ABF shortly before the delivery date when your website showed that the TV was on its way to South Chicago. I was told that their website was wrong. Your representative told me that delivery would be on 8/22. ABF subsequently changed the website to say delivery would be on 8/21. I called again and was told that the website was again wrong and that delivery would be on 8/22. Today, 8/22, I waited home all day to receive the TV, but got a call from ABF at about 3:45, saying you couldn't deliver the TV, but that I could meet your driver somewhere and they'd load the TV into my car. Apart from the fact that I paid for delivery to my home, I am 77 years old and am not physically capable of unloading a 65" TV from my car. When I refused the offer, I was told that you could try to redeliver in a smaller truck at some unspecified time in the future. I have lived in the same home for 46 years. NEVER in that time have I been told by anyone else that they could not deliver a package to my home. I've received a refrigerator, washers and dryers, roofing materials for a new roof, and other items significantly larger than a 65" TV. I do not wish to deal with you any more. I have asked B&H to have you redeliver the TV to B&H and to credit my account for the purchase price. I'll make do with my old TV. I will never order anything again from a vendor who intends to ship the product to me using your company. If you believed in honesty in advertising, you'd rename your company from Arcbest to Arcworst. John Hoffman Update 9/6/2024: The shipment number was 231350504. You are apparently now returning the TV to B&H as lackadaisically as you were delivering it to me. I hope you get it back to B&H within the next week or so, because B&H won't refund my money until the TV is returned to them. I only gave you one star because that was the least I could give. You actually deserve a large negative amount of stars. You are hopelessly incompetent.

Delivery came quickly and in great condition. The customer service team was even able to change the delivery vehicle, so my order could be delivered to my home.

Best trucking company we have used yet

We run a small business out of Tunnel Hill. Our freight is very unique and it is hard finding a good logistics company to work with the handle our freight. We partnered up with ArcBest at the beginning of the year and I have never been more impressed with a trucking company. I have not had one single incident. Not saying these don't happen, but just saying compared to other companies previously used i feel our product is treated with care. Our sales rep, Dean McKelvey, is extremely attentive to our shipping needs and very transparent. We also LOVE our terminal guys Anthony and Dustin. Very thankful for Arcebest.

I read some of these reviews and I need…

I read some of these reviews and I need to say I just had two very fragile and valuable pieces delivered by arcb and I could not be happier. The driver Jorge was so nice and accommodating. I have never had an easier time having something shipped to me then my experience here. You can trust them. There seems to be unhappy customers but they do a lot of volume and most people don't post if everything went well so I need to post how happy I am with them. It is the least I can do.

Top Notch Service and great driver!!

Just got my Home Depot vanity delivered this morning. Ryan Stapleton called in to dispatch to communicate a minor detail to the driver. Richard showed up with a smile and stellar attitude. He was very personable, likable and I enjoyed our short conversation getting to know each other. It's important to note that the last thing a customer sees is the driver. They represent their company and if they're in a bad mood or their attitude sucks...it's a reflection of the entire company. This is true for all companies with hard working delivery drivers. In a day and age where it's hard to find good help, ABF should be proud to have Richard as an employee. His attitude made me want to write this review! Thanks Ryan and Richard!
